Speechless Sunday: The Montana Winter Is On Its Way

From the State Line Trail near Superior last week where Winter is starting to set in. We've had a little bit of snow in the valley but it hasn't lasted. Just a friendly reminder from Mother Nature that the Montana Winter is on its way.
Here's Photos of this same area just a few weeks ago.

winter: Hey Montana Snowbirds... Tempe Arizona is ready for ya! - 10/14/09 08:50 AM
Montanans - If you're looking for a place to relax in the sun during the winter, contact our friend in Arizona, Nick Bastian at 602-803-NICK (6425).

Well, it's mid October and the weather man (person) says we could hit 100 degrees here in Tempe this weekend. This is the same weather channel where I see a list of snow showers and 30 degree temperatures in places like Minnesota. It is no secret that we have some amazing weather from November to oh, about May... The population should begin to swell around here any time now. This reminds me of some … (1 comments)

winter: Warming Up to Cold Weather Real Estate - 03/08/09 09:36 AM
Warming Up to Cold Weather Real Estate
We love Montana and selling Montana real estate, and we work with buyers and sellers year round - even through the chilly winter months. It does get a little interesting sometimes though and we have to chuckle that we're not postal workers, but some days we accept their motto: "Neither rain nor sleet nor dead of night."

Baby It's Cold Outside...Unless You're Soaking in a Hot Spring! While temperatures have been dipping into the 20's and 30's, a great way to warm up is by visiting a natural hot spring. Montana has more than two dozen developed "hot spring" destinations and another 30 natural sites all fed from natural geothermal features. Rooms, fine dining, therapeutic massage, Olympic sized pools, soaking tubs, and steam rooms are available at many of the developed sites. Resorts are located near some of the finest outdoor recreation areas in the state. Mountain ranges, streams and national forests adjoin Montana "Hot Springs." Some of … (1 comments)

Happy Holidays to all of our friends on Active Rain!
We will be enjoying a white Christmas in Montana this year with 13 inches of snow in our yard and more on the way. It's like a winter wonderland with snow topped trees all around us.
The snow doesn't deter our chocolate lab Caddis from having fun, she loves it!
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009!

winter: Was That My Buyer's Car That Ran Off the Interstate & Flipped Over in My Rearview Mirror? - 01/29/08 02:41 AM
Yep, it sure was. Now showing real estate in the winter in Montana has its challenges for sure, but this was definitely a first.
We had some clients that were driving through Montana on their way to Arizona. They had called about a beautiful piece of land we had listed and wanted to see it and a few others. I agreed to meet them the next morning at our local restaurant.
When I arrived, I offered for them to ride with me as I have four-wheel drive and snow tires and we were going to look at some recreational properties where … (54 comments)
