Do you know why we celebrate Veterans Day?   Did you know that this year holds a special significance since the date is 11/11/11?

The history of Veterans Day:Toward the end of World War I, an armistice (temporary cessation of hostilities), between the Allied nations and Germany went into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month (7 months prior to the end of the war). Due to this fact, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”
