Hi Folks,
Living in the country usually means that you will be utiliznig a septic system with leach fields.
Many families that move in from the city or suburban areas with sewer infrastructrues have never had to pay much attention to what goes down the drain and what you should and shouldnt put down there or how to manage a septic tank or the important leach fields that are tied to their design & function.

All livestock needs water at all time -- even if your home is in foreclosure! - 12/13/08 03:22 PM
Hi Folks,
Well just when you thought you had seen it all. I have been shocked lately by the number of abandoned animals left behind as some people abandon their homes to foreclosure.
The latest one I saw was a small pot belly pig that had recently won fair ribbons too. The people abandoned their home after six months in a short sale status (plenty of time to find their animal a new home) and the neighbors ended up calling animal control to come help the animal out.

Hi Folks,
Just had a great event take place this last weekend and wanted to share it with you.
A little background . . .I am a soccer coach for my daughters under 10 team and for the end of the year I wanted to do something extra special (a little more than the usual Pizza Party or Ice Cream social) so I remembered a local company that I knew did ropes coursework and team building and thought . . . "Wow! this would be amazing if we can pull something like this off".

Hi Folks,
A friend of mine Jeff Spirer is teaching a class at the Gold Country Computer Learning Center, where we both volunteer as computer class instructors.
The new Google class is focused on getting more out of Google than the usual basic searches for content. He will be going into details on mapping, Youtube add-ons, Gmail accounts, and some popular Google freeware that is not well known among users.
This class will be hands on and easy to understand (not too techy). You will walk away with something valueable for sure.
