If Pinellas County is where you want to be, then you must look in Lovely Largo--a terrific community with quiet, tree-lined neighborhoods with well-tended gardens. One great example of this is in Floral Gardens, just minutes from beaches or downtown areas! Take a look at the edible landscaping! This is a double lot, and plenty of space both inside and out for extended family, or use the spare room off the garage as an in-law apartment. Square footage is per seller, includes spare room. Great price for this much space!

Mirror Lake-now considered an Historical District, is home to many of the most familiar of St. Pete's well-known sites, such as, well--Mirror Lake, the Lyceum, the Coliseum, the famous Lawn Bowling and Shuffleboard Courts, and the old St. Petersburg High School, which has been converted to condos. Baywalk is also within walking distance, and it's just a few blocks further to the Vinoy Basin and The Pier. This one ya gotta see--no kidding, this is a 'signature' home--Whimsical Key West style bungalow in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, less than a block from Mirror Lake, walking distance to Baywalk, the Coliseum, and all that the downtown area has to offer (hint: see Trees). I rather like the way this video tour came out, too--and if you did as well, tell me! (My ego needs a boost, what can I say...)
