High School Graduation and Summer Break Begins - 05/23/11 12:32 PM
How did we get here?  How did time sneak up on us so quickly? 
I can't believe my oldest daughter, Stephanie, graduated this weekend from Satellite High School. 
Now she's off to make her mark on the world.  I am so proud of her!  She's an amazing person!

Congratulations to all those students that graduated this week!
They all have so much to look forward to.
Today is the final day of school for the rest of the students, here in Brevard County Florida.

Preventing Foreclosure Workshop - 05/17/11 03:03 PM
The Save Your Home, Prevent Foreclosure workshop will be held on Saturday May 21 from 9:00 to 11:00AM. The class will teach attendees budgeting, alternatives to foreclosure and it will explain the foreclosure process. 
Classes will be held at the Palm Bay Extension Office at 1455 Treeland Blvd, Palm Bay FL.
Cost is $5.
It will be hosted by The Brevard County Agriculture and Extension Service and the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.

Shuttle Endeavour Liftoff - 05/16/11 11:48 AM

The Shuttle Endeavour liftoff was at 8:56 AM, after a two week delay. There were alot of clouds, so here in Melbourne it was difficult to see it in the early stages.  This is the final mission of the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

Brevard County Real Estate Market Report - 05/13/11 12:49 PM

April 2011 showed an increase of 5.41% over 2010 in single family houses sold.
The number of condos sold decreased by 8.00% from 2010 to 2011.
However, the number of townhouses sold from 2010 to 2011 remained the same.
 

The average sales price of single family houses in Brevard increased by 5.41% from 2010 to 2011.
Condos showed an increase in price of 16.93% from 2010 to 2011.
Townhouses showed a decrease of 4.41% in sales price from 2010 to 2011.
