Where's My Crystal Ball? Friends - past associates - former clients - long-lost cousins - we all have them and would love to reconnect with them! Where to begin? In the future, how will we find people we have known? Yesterday, we received a phone call from a former co-worker in another town. Just because of time and space, we had lost touch. While walking down the street in rural Serdan, Mexico (state of Puebla), we heard a loud barking. Looking up, we saw the family pet carrying out a custom of the area. He lives on a roof and his job is to guard the family home or a place of work. Any person passing by the home or building he guards will cross to the other side of the street because he makes it obvious that this is his territory and no one (outside his owner) is welcomed! Did you see that flake? Surely - We can't be saying it - not the ‘s' word - in McCormick, South Carolina! But yes, there it was this morning - for all to see - right on front of our house. It must have gotten lost to end up here in McCormick! There's the often told story that a traveler from ‘up north' was looking for a new home to get away from the snow and ice of Michigan.
