Every now and again one gets to see or hear something that is uncommonly grand.  I felt this way when I watched "IL Divo" perform Amazing Grace at the Coliseum in Rome.  These 4 diverse opera singers will give you goosebumps when you watch them perform one of the best songs of all times in a setting so appropriate to the selection.  ENJOY! The biggest real estate myth - 03/29/09 09:02 AM

Via Russ Ravary - Michigan Homes for sale - Michigan Real estate & Mortgage info (Remerica Hometown One):
One of the biggest real estate myths is "there is a perfect house out there for you".
Let's set the record straight there is no perfect house.  Sure the house may be in the right location, have the beautiful kitchen you want but the rest of the house may need work.  Or the house may be in the school system you want, have the right layout, but not have the right "wow" factor for you.
Every house will have at least one issue that … (4 comments)

Don't Mess With Texas! - 03/28/09 11:28 PM
One of my biggest pet peeves is littering.  It really irks me.  I really don't understand how someone can toss an empty Whataburger soda container out the window!  aargh.  I checked the website www.dontmesswithtexas.org and read up on how to report a litterbug.  The website recommended turning them in through the Texas Department of Transportation's Report a Litterer Program.  First get the the following information:

The San Antonio Zoo - 03/28/09 11:16 PM
The San Antonio Zoo is one of the best in the nation but I was very surprised to learn that San Antonio's first zoo dates back to the 1800's!  The first zoo contained a collection of animals open to the public in San Pedro Park.  In 1914, one of the prominent citizens of San Antonio and founder of the San Antonio Express-News, deeded land to the city in what is now known as Brackenridge Park.  In this location he placed buffalo, elk, deer, monkeys, a pair of lions, and four bears.  This collection of animals became known as the San Antonio … (0 comments)

~Hummingbird Feeding~ - 03/28/09 10:56 PM
Although the hummingbird feeder hanging in our back yard has been empty for a few months, it's time to fill it up and watch the tiny birds feed once again.  Many Texans enjoy the hobby of hummingbird feeding and watching, but the best feeders are actually nectar from plants the birds would naturally use in their native environments. Planting native hummingbird friendly plants around your garden will definitely attract hummingbirds to your back yard. Changes in the Mortgage Interest Deduction? - 03/07/09 09:36 AM
Are mortgage interest deduction changes in our future?

The National Association of Realtors reports that this proposed change would result in further erosion of home prices and home values and has announced a plan to challenge this provision and remove it from the budget plan.
