Princeville condo (and house) + short sale update for the week of Nov 7th to Nov 13th - 11/15/10 12:38 AM
Princeville condo (and house) + short sale update for the week of Nov 7th to Nov 13th Aloha, Andy Irons' paddle out memorial was today. I understand in excess of anywhere from 4,000 to 10,000 people were expected at the memorial. I'm not a surfer but that doesn't lessen the impact of Andy's untimely death. It serves as a sad reminder how precious and fleeting our time on earth is and how much we should value the time we have with our loved ones and friends. May God bless the Irons' Ohana. As for real estate, there were 10 new residential (0 comments)

Kauai Hawaii October 2010 Sales Statistics - 11/06/10 08:53 PM
Aloha, This past month we had 58 sales which is 9 more than Sep 2010 and 8 more than last Oct. This is an increase from Oct 08 with 46 sales and Oct 07 which had 57 sales. Of course, it pales in comparison to Oct 06 where there were 92 and cannot begin to hold a candle to the "hot" Oct 05 with 162 sales. Year to date is good with 576 transactions compared to 396 this time last year for a hearty 45% increase. Of this month's sales, 26 were residential, 11 were land, with 21 condo sales. Princeville condo (and house) + short sale update for the week of Oct 24th to 30th - 11/01/10 03:00 AM
Aloha, Happy Halloween. We celebrated by attending the Kauai Ballroom Dance Association's Annual Ball at the Marriott Saturday night. What a great time; good food, great music and a chance to see some of our "dance friends" plus a wonderful opportunity to get dressed up. Dancing at the various venues around the Island is just one of the many fun things to do on Kauai. People from the mainland often ask if I get bored living here. The short answer is no, however, I would add that many of the Island's activities are only available if you know where to look. (4 comments)
