Lake California's Aero Club Hosted the annual Open House Fly-In. 4 Army Helicopters, stationed in Stockton, flew up for the day. The local CHP flew their fixed wing and helicopter in as well. Two piston twins and a host of high performance experimental and certified aircraft were also on hand for the viewing enjoyment of local visitors. Due to the price of aviation fuel, the typical pilot lunch is referred to as,"the $100 hamburger" however, the club provided a free tri-tip sandwich lunch for flight crews and charges a small fee for walk-in guests.
