Living in the Catonsville & Ellicott City area means being less than an hour from a really amazing museum - the National Air and Space Museum's Steven Udvar Hazy Center. This place is filled with hundreds of airplanes from our nation's incredible history of aviation! It's really spectacular because of the great number of airplanes suspended from the 3 story ceiling. The space itself is the size of several airplane hangers and it's easy to spend several hours wandering the space. The museum is full of windows and natural light and is very family friendly. Blandair Park is open for recreation and play in Columbia! This park has been in the works for more than 5 years and includes a playground and 3 gorgeous turf fields. The property belonged to the old Smith farm which has history in Howard County dating back into the 30's.
