I have several friends who live in Columbia, MD and it's always fun to visit the neighborhood pools there! Columbia is a planned community built between Baltimore and Washington, DC which contains a number of villages/neighborhoods. Each village has a center which often includes a grocery store, liqour store, and restaurants. A local pool and community center are usually close by along with neighborhood schools. The town is criss crossed with bike paths, little lakes and playgrounds. It's such a walkable and bikeable community!
