Ok! Here is one that I am sure will cause some controversy. I am a die hard APPLE fan! I have been ever since my first MAC SE in 1987. Actually before that using a girlfriend's Apple in 1984. Since then I have had an Apple II, the first PowerBook, the PowerComputing Apple Clone (short lived), a G3, G4, Clamshell Mac Laptop, PowerBook G4, Desktop G5, and now a 17" MacBook Pro running both Windows XP and MacOSX Leopard effortlessly at the same time. Being on the radio talking about all things real estate, real estate finance and real estate investment, allows me to be in contact with thousands and thousands of people each week. While many of the people I speak with are on top of their situation and goals, an equal amount of -- perhaps even more -- people are only taking action as a result of reacting rather than being proactive. The problem with this is that most reaction with respect to real estate is based on solving a problem...loan adjusted, home value dropped, can't afford the payments, can't find a renter/buyer, etc...vs. being proactive and (0 comments)
Hot on the heels of its surprise inter-session rate cut of 75 basis points last week, the Federal Reserve cut key interest rates again, the fifth straight cut since September 2007. In its statement last week, the Fed said it had decided to cut the federal funds rate "in view of a weakening of the economic outlook and increasing downside risks to growth." The Federal Reserve meets again in six weeks, and no one is certain how market volatility and inflation concerns will affect their future policy and decision-making. Bottom line: Take advantage of this opportunity while you still can. Call me right away. If you're looking to capture a (3 comments)

Inland Empire, California -- The housing slowdown has hit, bringing with it record numbers of home inventories along with puzzled, frustrated, even angry sellers. So what is a potential seller supposed to do? Darren Orshoff of The Home Ownership Roundtable says, "Don't panic, the best advice I can give is simply ride it out. In 2000, when the stock market threw many investors into turmoil, the ones who rode out the storm benefited. "Indications are that the housing slump is already correcting itself and that in another year it will be back to where it was a couple years ago," Orshoff said. (1 comments)
