This is a quick little video that I filmed during my Volunteer time at a local feedlot/Auction house here in NJ. This little guy had no idea that a very poor fate possibly awaited him, his mother and his friends. I am happy to say that since shooting this video this baby and his mom are now safe in a new loving hom. If you love baby animals this should make you smile... Member of Parliament (MP) Alex Atamanenko tabled Bill C-322 which would amend the Health of Animals Act and the Meat Inspection Act to prohibit the importation or exportation (a) of horses for slaughter for human consumption; and (b) of horse-meat products for human consumption. This Is Bishop. We rescued him from a Kill Pen on 7/13/2011, he is just the sweetest gentleman. He walks me out and says goodbye! I wanted to let you know I work with a group that gets the kill pen horses adopted on a weekly basis. Some amazing horses run through every week. There is also a great network to adopt from, rescued horses that have been vetted, temperament etc. If you have facebook you can check out Camelot Horse Weekly, preview pics come out by Wednesday morning and the Auctions are every Wednesday night in Cranbury NJ. The auctions can be a bit overwhelming, but you can go and spend several hours prior to the auction. There are always horses available at the feed … (0 comments)

There are no 'FREE' horses. An excellent source for 'free' horses is Craigslist. Check your local ads. You might be a Craigslist horse's only hope.
