An open letter to fellow agents and those associated with the Real Estate Industry.
Today marks the celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a fact that I am sure that is not lost on any of you. As we take the time to celebrate the dream of Dr. King today and rededicate ourselves and our country to the principles, I ask that we as an industry do the same by correcting a wrong that has been committed and carried on with little to no thought of consciousness on the behalf of those that perpetuate this "tradition".

I came across a great article about the way that Virginia,Maryland and DC was able to establish some of the parks that we now sometimes for granted.
Proposed funding would buy land and keep it in green space
The bill, called the National Capital Region Land Preservation Act, seeks to secure up to $50 million a year for five years in federal funding for preserving land in the Greater Washington metropolitan region, much of it along the Potomac.
