This past week I was in Denver at RE/MAX International for Broker / Owner training. It was just amazing. We literally had the opportunity to be "Above the Crowd" as our class experienced a ride in the balloon ! I was extremely impressed with the new building at RE/MAX headquarters (I posted a few photos on Facebook ) . Check Signing - Perspective from Realtor to Owner I write so many checks per month. Our business alone "The Somers Team" writes countless checks every month for bills and expenses. We have another account for our Philadelphia Investment Properties that we write all the checks for the bills and expenses associated in managing those properties. Is your goal to own a real estate office ? Two months ago I recently purchased half ownership of RE/MAX Affiliates in Philadelphia. It was not my goal to be an owner of a real estate office. It is not something I ever set out to do. It just sort of happened per se. Port Richmond Works ! Our office was located in Port Richmond for a few years. So, Chris and I have become very familiar with the neighborhood and the surrounding subdivisions. We do not live in PortRichmond, though may of our co-workers have either grown up there, have family and friends there or they actually live in the neighborhood. One thing for sure, the people who live in Port Richmond really have strong ties to the neighborhood.
