Lake Padden Bellingham
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, there is no better time than a day sitting by the lake with a fishing pole. Lake Padden fishing is a great way to relax and catch the nights meal. Lake Trout are the major catch in this recreational area of Whatcom County. Grill them on the BBQ with some lemon and garlic, add some baked beans and garlic bread to top of the meal.

Bring the family, if the kids aren't interested in staring at a pole, Lake Padden has great entertainment for all. Hiking around the trail with the family dog, swinging at the playground, picnic and BBQ pits throughout make dinner or lunch an easy chore while the kids play. Bring the row boat or canoe for easier fishing or paddle across the lake for recreation.
This miniature paradise is open to the public year round, however fishing season isn't, so get there early to take advantage of the eats.
