Musical Adventures with the Definiens Project

7:00 pm

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month from February through June, the musicians of Definiens Project will present an interactive Musical Adventure for children and their families. The short musical pieces performed by the musicians are accompanied by participation from the audience. Though designed for elementary school age children, all ages are welcome. This month's selection is a tale of "Dunley the Rabbit", a private investigator with special powers of observation! This performance is made possible in part by the Culver City Performing Arts Grant Program with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment.

"We Tell Stories" presents Pint-Sized Plays for National Library Week

The storytelling troupe, "We Tell Stories" presents Pint-Sized Plays: a collection of interactive story-based plays for National Library Week. These plays are a younger version of the troupe's popular plays and are geared to the preschool child aged 3-5 years. Younger and older children are also welcome. Rapid advances in technology and expanding demand for new features accelerate the generation of "old" electronic equipment "e-waste". The result is a growing challenge for businesses, residents, and communities as they search for ways to reuse, recycle, or properly dispose of this equipment.
