Of particular interest to our industry, the BUILD segment (April 24th, 9 pm) will present an ultra-sustainable modular prefabricated "Glidehouse", a low-income sustainable housing project in Harlem, and a futuristic living house (made from intertwined trees, of all things).

Granted, it is difficult to try to be "green" in all areas of your life. But every little bit helps, and education is KEY.

We should try to use raw materials like bamboo, rattan, and recycled glass when redecorating our homes. We should RECYCLE. We should absolutely stop drinking plastic bottled water (the plastic stays in landfills forever).

This series is a great start in teaching us that there are talented and dedicated people in our world that are trying to make a difference from an ecological standpoint. Their ideas are off-the-wall, innovative, and fabulous. Talk about thinking outside the box!

I've already set my DVR to record all of these programs. How about you?
