RE continuing education has been a joy...

These past couple of weeks I have been diving into the continuing education in a mad last minute dash to get my required hours in. I think what I had anticipated as a humdrum series of classes to fill me in on what I already knew was actually very informative and pertinent to this hours market. I felt the instructors to be very knowledgeable and helpful. One more thing... Realtors today despite the competition seem to be more cooperative and cohesive than ever. Bravo.

Continuing education classes are definitely the way to stay on top of this hours market trends so you can be best informed for your clients. I just wanted to thank the instructors out there that are doing the fantastic job that they are doing and to keep up the good work.

I just signed up to a continuing education course in San Jose for distressed properties. I know I will learn something and get the course hours needed to keep going.

It sounds like you had some great instructors. I find there's a lot to be learned from bloggers who share their experiences. I like combining the text book class knowledge with the street experiences of agents who blog here =)

I like to take a few classes each month to keep on top of the trends.  It helps me to be better informed and I hate last minute crunch classes

I am addicted to desigation classes. Everytime I earn another designation I think I will take some time off. But I can not stay out of the classroom - and start taking more classes. The ideas I get for growing my business are endless.

I love that the more I learn the more I make.

CE as a mandate is a wonderful thing. What other business requires education as a pre-requesite to keeping your license, and in essence your job. There's no such thing as tenure in this business, if only the same principle could be applied to other trades and business, not to mention the education system that seems to go to sleep after 10 years on the job!
