Santa Fe Opera - GALA OPENING WEEKEND: JULY 2 - 5
Don't miss the Gala festivities as we celebrate Charles MacKay and his first season as General Director. The weekend begins with the Gala Ball's "Singapore Nights" where you'll be taken away to an exotic film-noir setting while you enjoy a special performance by soprano Patricia Racette. Racette stars in this season's world premiere of Paul Moravec's The Letter.
Expect great fun during this four-day celebration! It's a time to renew old friendships and forge new ones; a chance to dine and dance far into the night at the Gala Ball and discover historic hidden areas of Santa Fe over dinner in a private home. You'll meet some of today's finest performers in a relaxed and gracious setting. Plus of course, have an opportunity to take in two unforgettable evenings of opera under the starlit skies of Santa Fe.
AND since the proceeds from Gala events benefit the Apprentice Programs, you'll be supporting the Opera!
