Self-Employed!

By
Real Estate Agent with Platinum Realty Group

Are you in Business for Yourselves? Of course, if you are a Realtor you are! I need to vent, today!

I have a Listing, that I have advertised, and shown, had Open Houses, and generally worked on, and spent money on. We got it on the market in December and it is priced to sell! Of course, now that the market has picked up and the house is showing, the owner is getting ancey!

As A Self-Employed Person, I need to sell to make back the money I have put in the advertising and the time I have spent on the house, I understand that the Seller can make more money if they sell it themselves, why didn't she do that to begin with. After spending all this time and money it appears that they now want to FSBO the house.

I Wonder, if a possible buyer has approched the seller and wants to cut the Realtors out so they can get it for less!

Are you ethical, even when it comes to your pocketbook? I hope so, even if costs us more money are you willing to go behind someones back and do a deal if they have been marketing it! I don't think so.

Well, I have my answer, she has put up a fsbo sign, now she can wrestle with it.!

What comes around, goes around -- this person now has no one to represent her in negotiations!  When selling it herself isn't as easy as she believed it to be, she may come running back.  Meanwhile there are other sellers who need your valuable services!

Connie..Not only offer to help her qualify the people interested, but give her all the necessary forms for the transaction with your card attached for questions.Offer your services to any buyer that has not hired an agent.Get two mortgage companies to give sheets of available rates with your compliments..over load her with the stuff she will need to sell her home in your market. How does that saying go ,"you get more flies with honey than vinegar."
