Mohave County Planning and Zoning has another solar power plant on the horizon. Smaller than the first, the Comission will consider a minor amendment to the County General Plan, the Yucca Area Plan and a rezoning request for Havasu Solar Electiric to construct the site.
The farm will sit on 17.7 acres of property east of Interstate 40 and north of Boriana Mine Road near Yucca.
Along the same line, it looks like the County is in discussion to amend the General Plan to allow more renewable energy projects to occur!
