Last Saturday, May 16, 2009 I attended at St John and Paul's Catholic Church in Coventry, RI,

the First Communion of my Godson, Keith John Pacheco's daughter,

Sts. John & Paul is a Roman Catholic Church that is made up of 4700+ families, one the largest parishes in the Diocese of Providence. It is located in the town of Coventry and services the needs of families located in the West Warwick, Coventry and Exeter-West Greenwich areas of our state of Rhode Island.

Great Aunt Kathleen, Great Uncle John, Great cousin Mark and Ashley

First Communion is such a momentous celebration. Ashley Lynn was baptized as an infant into the family of God we call Church, and now she takes a place at the Lord's Table with the grownups. Grandparents, aunts, friends join her and her immediate family in celebrating the event. The life of the risen Lord is nurtured in his people by a consistent lifetime diet of his flesh and blood. A child's First Communion is but the first taste of this food the Holy Eucharist. "This is my body", and wine, saying, "This is my blood."

Thanks for the pictures. They came out so nice. Ashley is so pretty! You are a very good photographer. i eesp. like the picture of Ashley and Kim.

Hope all is well with yoo and your family.

Heidid is having a greatt ime in australia and recently went to the Great Barrier Ref and New Zealand. She will be back on June 30th. Bethany will be visiting her in jJune for a few weeks. I am really glad she got approval. A friend of theirs will be vsiiting too. zBefore heidi comes home, she will visit my brother and his family ofr a few days. This will be very nice too.

I am working in a pre-school nearby, as a director. iam fortunate to have a job ijn this worrsisome economy. I am enjoying it now that I am mor accoustomed to it.

I hope your business is noit too affected by this economy. Takr care, Carol

CAROL: thank you for being my first commenter for this post that I really enjoyed creating. You are so sweet, thank you for your compliments. I do love taking pictures, Have been enjoying it since age 10, when my parents gave me my first camera the Brownie Hawkeye by Kodak.

The image with Kim and Ashley is my favorite, too.

I am sure you must miss your daughters, but now your new work will help. Wow, I cannot believe Heidi is already returning. She will have so much to tell us of her experiences. I am glad Bethany is doing fantastic ,too. Jimmy and his family will love the time that Heidi spends with them in CA.

Hope you are enjoying your Nashua events. The day here in Providence was Sunny and in the 70's terrific for our Open Market Event but it began to rain at 4:30 just after the vendors had packed and left. Perfect timing. It is still raining and temp in mid 60's.

Kim, thank so much for commenting, it is greatly appreciated. I am so glad we were in RI to attend Ashleys's First Communion celebration. Three years ago when Ryan had his First communion we were in SC welcoming our new second grandson, Braydon, born on April 20, 2006.

I do have a passion for blogging and using the internet to build stronger relationships with family, friends and clients, both past and new.
