In case you haven’t heard there is a new worm running around and it seems to be spreading pretty quick. I guess that makes sense given that it preys on people looking for more followers on Twitter and given the nature of Twitter and the majority of its users wanting more followers. You can read more about the worm here. The big warning and lesson of course is be careful what you wish for, don’t click on links you don’t trust and don’t EVER GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORDS TO ANYONE. This includes entering your login details on any site that you are not 100% positive it’s the real deal. I am not going to link to the sites in the article but you can imagine. Some of these fake sites look realer than others and I guess they typically prey on people not paying attention.
