Serious about Facebook marketing? Check out Facebook analytics

By
Real Estate Agent with Eau Claire Realty, Inc.
I like analytics. I like everything about knowing exactly what people are doing on my websites and every other aspect of my marketing. I think its one of the most important things besides actually building the sites because if you dont know how effective certain aspects of your sites are then you dont know what to work on, what are the weak points etc.

A company today announced an analytics application that works with Facebook. It does not appear to be free but if you are serious about Facebook marketing this might be the thing for you.

My curiosity about facebook marketing has been raised because of a couple of blogs I've read today. If anyone has had success through facebook I'd like to hear about it. Results are the bottom line.

Yeah I think there is a post just below this one about marketing thats why I saw that and thought I would post this one.

I can tell you from looking at my google analytics that sometimes 5% of my traffic to my website comes from facebook.

That's impressive. Directing traffic to my website has always been a challenge. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the info.

you seem like a guy that will enjoy "digsby".

Digsby allows you to:

                       1.  Instant Message with yahoo, msn, aol

                       2.  Check email with 4 or more different accounts

                       3.  Tweet, and check tweeters

                       4.  Check facebook, myspace, linkedin, and another one (i forget the name)

ALL AT THE SAME TIME :)

To tell you the truth, facebook has always had anaylitcs on its fan pages.  The newest version of analytics allows you to measure all sorts of great things like user interactions, post quality, and page views (plus lost more.)  This is a FREE feature for page owners.

facebook page analytics

Basically you can use a FB fan page as a website.  My fan page has generated over 80 referrals nationwide this year.
