What a beautiful photo!  I love the touches of yellow.  Does lavendar do well in shade?  I have a lot of shade in my yard and not much sun.

Thanks for all of your nice comments!  I agree that lavender seems to inspire a calming feel even if you are just looking at a photo - & I imagine I can smell that soothing fragrance too!  Ours are in fairly direct sunlight so I'm not sure, Sharon, whether it would do well in shade or not?  Anybody know??
