How does Blogging generate leads? Good Question isn't it?
Here is my take on this topic, how many times have you heard a high profile actor or athlete talk about how when they meet members of the public, the public tend to treat them as if they already know them? Some revel in it some find it unnerving, but this experience is quite universal.
How can this be? Could it be that the celebrities have unwittingly (or intentionally) built rapport with people they have never met by means of their exploits, achievements and interviews? There can be no other answer to this question but YES!
Blogging boiled down to it's most easily understood concept is that it is Rapport Building with people that you may or may not know. Blogging is where you attract people like yourself by being yourself. How many times have you been told at seminars or by peers that people like to do business with people like themselves? Countless I am sure.
The average Realtor will never gain the notoriety of a Hollywood actor but you can become a celebrity of sorts in your own town and you can do this by Blogging. Slowly at first, you will gain a following, as your body of work compiles you will slowly become more and more well known. The best part is the people who will read you and make note of you will be just the kind of people that want to do business with you.
