Start a project and get busy!

By
Real Estate Agent with Lyon Real Estate

My real estate business has been moving along.  Nothing to brag about but it has been steady.  So I thought it would be safe to start a project.  Something small like a partial bathroom remodel.  Demo was easy, nothing like swinging a sledge hammer to take my aggressions out on a helpless tile counter.  It seemed almost as soon as I swung the hammer business has been crazy!  Phone is ringing off the hook.  Buyers and sellers deciding now is the time to make their move.  Plus summer is here and school is out.  So I now have 4 junior sales associates that come on some of my appointments with me.  I think I have more fun bringing them along than they do.  We try and make fun by visiting what ever park is closest to where I am meeting my clients.  After week on getting the bathroom ready we installed the new vanity, counter and mirror.  It looks great just finish work to complete.  Good and bad thing is my week is rapidly filling up with appointments.  No time to do the finish work.  Maybe next week.  However just as business is getting busy so is my honey-do list.  I will take being busy and not enough time to finish projects over not busy enough to afford the projects any day.  My suggestion is get busy!
