I officially have my first executed contract under way!!! We are set to close the end of next month, and everything (cross your fingers) is running smoothly!!
This is how the story goes:
Due to being such an active Facebooker, all of my friends from High School know that I am now a Realtor! So I get a contact from my friend who is looking to buy her first home with her husband! After having a not so good experience with their previous Realtor, my friends was relying on me to make this time around as smooth as can be! So I get all of their information, & start sending out properties that fill their needs. Within a few days they had found one they liked, but the day before we were set to see it, it went under contract. Bummer!!! About a week later, they find another home, completely rehabbed, that they really like as well! We go to check it out, and wow, this place is amazing!!! Just like that they have found their first home!! So after a few days of talking to their mortgage rep, and thinking about it... they decide to make an offer. After one counter offer, all parties have signed and we are under way. Home inspection came back with no problems, and things are good to go!!
I know that not all of my dealings are going to go this smooth, but for my first one, I couldn't have asked for better. My clients are absolutely amazing, the house is great, and I feel really good to have helped them get over their last ordeal. I can't wait to go to settlement, get a picture with them, and welcome my friends, my clients, into their very first home!!!
