Homes For Sale in Monument, CO 80132

Monument, CO 80132, is a sleepy little town 10 minle north of Colorado Springs, and 50 miles south of Denver. It has a vibrant downtown area, a supermarket, Starbuck's and an assortment of fast food restaurants.

Monument's biggest claim to fame is it's 4th of July celebration, parade and festival. Everyone turns out to be in this very small-town-America parade. After the parade there are vendors selling all types of wares and food. Then around 9:00 pm, the fireworks demonstration begins over Palmer Lake. Come early and save your seat, as it fills up quickly!

Here's a short list of homes for sale in Monument. Homes start around $125,000 for condo's and townhomes, and go up to over $1M for the large mansions out east.

Nice local post, with good Monument info. I never really think of townhomes or condos in Monument, as most of the homes that we stage seem to be in the 2500-3500 sq. ft. range, and I haven't "visited" Monument for the purpose of checking out the town...maybe time for a daytrip!

One of the nice features to a day trip, Cheryl, into Monument is the Santa Fe Trail runs right thru the downtown area. You can head north to Palmer Lake, or south along the Old Denver Hwy. Isn't it amazing how much you can post on somedays, then other days can get a lousy word out of your mouth. I'm bound and determined to regain my position. Silly, isn't it. It was very nice to get a feature in the Wacked group...but what do we have to do to get an AR featured article??? Is this your week to be home? I'm paint the other bathroom today. Come by and help me pick out a color!

Did not know that about Monument, and the Santa Fe Trail, but it also runs right through Trinidad, where I used to live. Hubs even played Kit Carson in a local play production, (grew out his beard and all!) Keep blogging, you'll get there, I think you can, I think you can, I know you can ,I know you can...=o)

I KNOW I CAN! LOL. The Santa Fe Trail originally went thru Missouri to Santa Fe, NM. It'd be cool to check out old maps to see exactly where it was. C & I went to the map room at PPLD one day and checked all they had. It was fun.
