Ok Gerry ~ I never thought I might move to Montana but moose lounging in the backyard may just get me there.  That is the coolest!

That is neat.  I never knew Montana had Moose.  I think of moose in Maine and Alaska

They are really beautiful animals aren't they? I cherish a photo a friend sent me when they were stationed in Alaska. There was a mom and baby moose-meece-miice what is the plural, anyways it was just precious.

Keep the pics coming. I love them!

Hi Gerry, They look pretty comfortable there - what does one do when one wants to let the dog out?? LOL!

Russ,

We do have them here too and they are a joy to watch from a distance.

Kim,

I believe the plural of moose is moose.   I will keep posting a photo of a moose on Monday for as long as I can.   Thanks for the nice comment.

Eric,

They usually don't stay around too long in the backyard.  They prefer forested areas.

Mary,

One has to check for the backyard to be clear before letting the dogs out.  Funny you made this comment.   I would be more worried with the black bear or as I experienced more recently, a skunk in the backyard.

How awesome, Gerry. I have never seen one in real life, but I am sure they are very impressive. Thanks, Jim

Jim,

You are welcome.  They are very impressive.  They usually stand taller than your average horse.

Oh what fun!  Moose Monday in Montana!  There are not many places where you might look out into your backyard and find a lounging moose!  The closest I have gotten to a moose in Alabama is a bar in Orange Beach called the Loose Moose!  Will be looking for more Moose on the Loose on Moose Mondays in Montana!

I had never seen a moose in person until I moved to NH.  I was driving to a convention with my manager .. after seeing several sign about watch out for moose... I asked her when does Moose season begin?  I think she is still laughing!

I love MOOSE MONDAY'S Gerry! Glad to hear you kept yourself safe behind the fence:) Since I'm not familiar w/ Montana do the moose generally hang out on the porch and in a person's yard?
