10,000 Points

10000 points

I joined Active Rain a few months back. It was a good networking site, maybe I can build a few new relationships. That was my plan. Now here I am, and I hit the 10,000 point mark today. I know that is nothing for some of you that have been here from the start, but it's a start.

Here is the interesting thing. The points are neat, but Active Rain has brought me a lot more in the past few months.

  • I have been able to connect with a friend that I have not spoken to in years.
  • I have made a few new referral partnerships.
  • I have learned many new ideas; tips; techniques by reading the blogs every day.
  • I have increased the quality of my writing.
  • I have increased my exposure online.
  • A great start to my day by focusing my mind with like minded individuals

These are all great bonuses. I will continue to try to build my points, but the real benefit of ActiveRain has nothing to do with the points. I hope to continue to learn from all of you and along the way I hope to contribute as well.

On to 25,000!!

Congrats Nicholas, my advice is to read as many blogs per day as your time allows.

Congratulations!!! I'm impressed, I only have about 3,000 points.  I joined about two weeks ago, and I love the site.

Congrats Nicholas! I'm am also from Colorado, and in an almost identical position. Your observations of the value A R adds to your business, are the same as mine.

Nicholas,  I hit my first goal of 10000 last week.  On to 25000.  Stick with it.  I rec'd a call last week of a man moving to my area from another state.  I was notified of an accepted offer an hour ago on only the second home I showed him.  He said that he "found me on the Internet."  I attribute it to several blogs that made my web presence much much higher.

Congratulations Nick, any milestone is worth recognition, and although I have more points than some, I have a lot less than quite a few and still a whole lot more to learn. May your interest and activities be rewarded socially, for your business, and within the AR community.

Congrats on the milestone, Nick.  I think you did a great job of highlighting the real benefits on AR that the points are just a neat way to show your contribution to the success of the AR forum.

Added you as an associate and looking forward to more of your posts about your area.

The first 10,000 are the hardest ... I'm looking forward to celebrating your 100,000th point. :)

Ricky - I agree. There is so much to learn here.

Liz - It doesn't take too long to move up. You will be here in a matter of weeks.

Jon - It's good to meet other Colorado folks on here. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help your business.

Edward - Goes to show that it works

Ed - You are a great example of AR. You have a lot of points and continue to learn and share.

I hope to hit the 100k mark - Thanks!
