Help Wanted: Social Media Success Stories Needed

After spending countless hours in researching for social media success I was hit by a BLO (Blinding Light of the Obvious). Ask the Active Rain community.

I would like to compile a list of top tips and success stories of how social media has helped to create a sale in Real Estate today. An example would be if you have had success in having an event and posting it in FaceBook or if a specific tweet or type of tweet in twitter has given you a new contact.

A couple of months ago, I commented to my sister that I had joined FB and hoped it would help my business. She then told me that it already had. I had sold a home to my sister's high school friend who had found her on FB. So, I have only been using social media for 2 months and already have had one good sale. Yes, it does work.

I have used Facebook to help build my referral business. With Facebook you are able to connect with people of the past. They might not live in your market area, but I bet you could find them a great real estate agent that lived in their area. I have done 3 referrals so far, and picked up a $500,000 + home buyer.
