There is a growth in optimism throughout California realtors according to a recent online survey.
Out of the California realtors polled in Q#, 34% think that home values will increase in the next six months compared to 9% that believed that home values would increase in Q1. 28% of those realtors think home values will fall in the next 6 months.
Throughout the nation 23% of the realtors polled think that prices are headed up compared to the 31% that see a downward trend happening. As expected nearly 80% of the realtors said that the home values of their clients had decreased.
One-third of the realtors polled said that their buyers in California think that homes are fairly priced but throughout the nation only 20% of homebuyers agree that homes are fairly priced. Locally, 45% of buyers thought that California homes were overpriced in Q3 compared to 64% nationwide.
