Amber Hutchins has joined in with the HealthSouth Walk Team in the JDRF Walk to cure diabetes!

Along with one-half million other walkers across the country they hope to reach a goal of raising $100 million.

Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating disease that affects millions of people, a large and growing percentage of them children.

The good news is that for the first time, scientists are predicting that we CAN expect to see a cure well within our lifetime!

Great cause and I hope she has a great time along the way. I usually participate in Race for a Cure, Stomp out Polio and the March of Dimes. All great causes to be invloved with. Good Luck and keep us posted.

I should participate in this walk too.  My mom and dad both have diabetes, also my grandfather.  I also worked with a young lady that had juvenile diabetes.  I hope Amber blows her goal out of the water!
