I received this in my email box tonight and thought it really was worth sharing. We forget that, at times, its the little things that count, its the little things that turn into big things and the little things that can create lasting memories. How many times does a past client remind you of something you said, or did, that you hardly remembered doing or saying? It was a small gesture, or something you felt was insignificant, but it was big to them.
I had a client, and I'll never forget this, thank me 3 years after they bought their house because of something I related to her as to my view on parenting. She said I changed her perspective that day, and thanked me for making her a better mom.. it was something I had said in passing... something I had said a million times before in my peer counseling related to new moms. "A need met, is a need fulfilled." Anyway, the story behind that really is a whole other subject, but suffice it to say... I felt so honored to have played a part in their LIFE, not just their home buying experience... and after all, isn't a house more than just a place to live.
Anyway, here's the video I was sent tonight, enjoy... I thought it was thought provoking... perhaps your thought for the day as it was mine...
