I am considering Buying the BB Storm and I was wondering how many of you have this phone and how do you like it. It does not get very good reviews on Verizon Wirless site. I am hoping to get some insight from you all. Thank you for your time and Enjoy your day.. Paula
BB Storm..I thought from the title that it meant Dennis the Menace lived next door and had a pellet gun..and systematically was going after each of your windows, one by one.
Paula - Don't do it. The BB Storm is a great idea but it has a ton of functionality problems. It freezes up often. In addition Verizon Wireless was not very helpful in assisting me in correcting the problems. I actually was sent 2 replacement units in 3 months and they all had the same problems.
I got the impression that this was a piece of technology that RIM rushed to market without removing all the bugs. I give it a thumbs down - 1 star out of 5.
ok Everyone thank you for your comments after doing some research I think I have decided on the Blackberry Tour. Does anyone have this phone and How do you Like It???
I had one, and returned it a week later. Syreeta already touched on their functionality problems. Verizon should have recalled them all by now, but they're greedy.
The Storm 2 is coming out so maybe it will be better? I am wondering it its technology for typing is better than the iPhone? Longer texts and emails are (generally) easier to do on a (blackberry?, Palm Pre?) 'real' qwerty keyboard?
I recently went to a blackberry class and got good feedback from other agents who are already using the Blackberry Bold. I at first thought I would go with the newest Curve 8900 but the instructor said the Bold has much higher screen resolution and has right at 1 GIG. So, given that bit of info and so many agents in the room advising the Bold, I think that's the one I'll pick but I'm still doing my research. A few websites if you don't already know that may be helpful: www.crackberry.com and www.blackberrymessenger.com www.pandora.com is a free internet site where you can get 40 hours of music but the instructor said to be sure and get a memory card - music eats up a lot of memory.
