Lancaster PA Fall Fest

Are you a fan of country music?  Here in Lancaster County, PA, country music is hugely popular - and 40,000 people proved it at the Big WIOV 18th Annual Fall Fest!  Held at the Overlook Community Campus in Lancaster, PA, a spacious complex which includes a driving range, a restaurant, roller skating rink and a golf course.

       The weather was perfect for a concert - partly sunny with mild temperatures and and a mild breeze...

Trailer Choir, Sarah Buxton, Chris Young, Darryl Worley headlined the concert, with Little Big Town as the final act.

Hi Joan,

The Fall Fest was October 11, and we were getting the last bit of "Indian Summer" weather.  Now the mountains of Pennsylvania have been getting snow, and in Lancaster it's cold and rainy.  I'm glad the festival was lucky enough to fall on just the right weather day.  The size of the audience showed that they agreed!

Felicia, the information about the 2012 Fall Fest is not out yet.  Turkey Hill is the main sponsor, and they will be advertising and providing information later in the year - then we'll find out who's on the entertainment roster!

I'll be coming, too!  The lineup for FallFest 2012 hasn't been announced yet.  Country music station WIOV 105 and Turkey Hill will probably both have the latest information on their websites when it's available.

Laurel, information on the 2012 Fall Fest will be posted on WIOV.com closer to the event.  Tickets should be available at local Turkey Hill stores at that time.
