Does Bad Weather Keep Clients Away?

Last night, cold weather came to the community of Big Canoe in Georgia.  It is 45 degrees and I have carefully selected what to wear today.  Why, because I have clients coming up to look at houses.  Amazing how weather will NOT deter people who are serious in their journey to find just the right place to call home.

I have sold land in the snow!  Now that was exciting!  At least the leaves were off the trees so they could see the wonderful view their property had.

So don't get down when the weatherperson tells you it is going to rain, snow, sleet or rain!  THEY WILL COME!

I've had one call to see a property today but I did decide not to open my new construction condo sales office.  Don't think to many people are going to be out looking at waterfront condos on a cold rainy day.

I have had buyers out in the snow and remember standing outside with them as they passionately discussed the consideration of writing an offer on a home they liked.  Their son was making snow angels on the front lawn.  If buyers are serious, they will come out.

When you need/want/gotta have a new home for almost any reason you go shopping. Tough weather weeds out the curious more than the serious. Better bundle up for tonight the other Ken Cook (the old one) says it's headed into the thirties!
