I was at a closing the other day and the listing agent was charging his sellers $800 for a admin fee. An admin is a fee that a broker or Real estate firm charges for all the office and filing work on your file.
I can understand why there is a fee with all files having to be stored online for 7 years, but $800 dollars is over the top.
The average fee these days seems to be anywhere from $250-$500. You may want to ask your Realtor before you get to the closing table and finding out that your being charge this amount.
