Our Power was out yesterday from 12:45pm until 9:30pm last night and the weather was windy and cold.  When we first moved to Franklin,NC back in 1993 a big storm hit called the blizzard of 93.  We arrived just after that terrible storm where power was out for a few weeks in some areas in Franklin,NC.  Since then we experience a 7 day outage a few years after that and we bought a generator

I thought of people here last night that may not have such luxuries as us and thought I would share these tips from Duke Power.

  • Online: If you have access to the Internet, report an outage using our online report form.
