I ran into a website that brings a new twist to farming. You send a letter or post card out to the homeowner with their named and address preprinted with a code. They can take that code and enter it at a website -- even your website -- and the homeowner gets emailed back to them an automated report of their property including comparable sales and all the free information that is available on the Internet regarding schools and community information.
The consumer gets a report but in order for them to get that report -- they have to enter in the phone number and email address -- you already know there address.
The system takes that information into the contact management system and now you can email market to them throughout the year -- an innovative way to get an email address with the simple offer of sending them the information they want to read and see about their house and neighborhood.
