TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HAND

Playing in the sand

When I am at the beach I like to pick up shells, driftwood and even seaweed.  Here is one of those occasion where I tried to put it all together, now I understand why my art teacher rolled his eyes at my artwork.

The question my husband asked was: What is this?

I'm assuming it's not a self portrait???  Maybe raggedy Ann or Andy?

Jennifer,  It looks like you had fun creating it and that is all that matters.  I enjoyed the part that you can do so much with materials found in nature.

Jennifer,

Beach art is so temporary though. Whatever it is, you had fun doing it. Thanks.

I think it's a sea creature of some kind, maybe even a person coming up out of the water with seaweed in his hair and on his face.

Happy New Year!
