Coco Plum Beach in Marathon Florida the Florida Keys

Turn Oceanside off of Overseas Hwy onto Coco Plum Drive and wind around 1.4 miles to the entrance of Coco Plum Beach on the right. This is my favorite beach for walking because it is usually deserted and it has the longest uninterrupted stretch of sand I have found in Marathon, Florida Keys.

For those that want to make it a day trip they do now have a pavilion, bathrooms and trash bins. It is more of a natural beach than a swimming beach because the water is very shallow. If you do plan to swim check the sign posted by the bathrooms and make sure the water quality is safe for swimming. It is dog friendly and my pooch Zeke adores our daily walk where he can run free and chase the sea birds. Please grab a bag, provided at the entrance, if you are bringing Fido and clean up after him.

Shelling is modest with mostly small shells and these weird corkscrew things I call sea spirals.

There have been a few reports of men sunbathing nude and even a couple of them exposing themselves....eeeew. This is occurring on the left side of the beach so when you enter the beach turn to the right and you should have no issues with pervs.
