You may have heard the news recently about our snap of cold weather! here in Fleming Island.
Let's find it sufficient to say it was COLD. And I last lived in the Northwest. So, for me and mine to state that it's cold, you just know it has to be! Jackets came out, long sleeves, long pants, and the flips went to the back of the closet.
My drycleaner was very busy getting those darn sweaters ready for me! (thank you Comet Cleaners!) And then, right as we were ready--or heading further south--it stopped. It has returned to the normal winter here in Fleming Island. And I was surprised. I was out viewing homes yesterday and it was crazy warm in the mid-afternoon! The kind of warm where you wonder how long it would take to get home, change, and get back to where you left off! (but not like summer in FL warm)
After all, there is nothing worse than being near someone who is sweltering. You know that person who is dying from the heat, and cannot quite focus......yep, that person. Yesterday that was me. Thank goodness for T-shirts and such! Saved the day! And my showings!
We viewed 8 terrific homes, each needing to meet specific criteria, and 3 did. Good stuff my friends--nice, warm, good stuff! Now, as we have viewed these wonderous homes I am ready to have the buyer pick one. Sort of like when you fan out the cards and say 'pick one'. And you just know that the right one will be the one you pick! Because as I've narrowed their search criteria down, I've previewed the homes, I've done the homework. So, pick one. You will not be disappointed!
Go ahead. Close your eyes. And pick one!
Of course that's craziness! I would never have you close your eyes and randomly pick. Each home has it's own story to tell. Each one has it's own tale, history, and personality. So, yes, please pick one--because I am really hoping it's the one with the really inviting pool--and because I am dying to see which one you choose after the work has been done. I want to see which wonderful home makes you skip down the driveway. Which one makes your heart do a flip. Really---I need to know. Because I too have fallen for these homes, and cannot wait to find out which one is for YOU!
So, pick one! And let's start working to make it yours!
