Best Places to Retire, Rehoboth Beach Delaware, being tax friendly to residents is a big thing on a fixed income, such as when you are retired.  Five States offer "No Sales Tax at All", they are: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hapshire, and Oregon.  But as you can see, most of these states are located in the northern part of the U.S.  Delaware is the only state that has relatively mild temperatures all year long.  And when you purchase something as large as a new automobile, you will  save considerable money as opposed to other states that charge sales tax.

Rehoboth Beach and surrounding areas has a small town feel.  Being a beach town, when most of the population comes from traffic from the north in the summer months, it is quite pleasant 9 months a year.  No Traffic, no crowds, no lines and everything is easily accessable.  Basically, during the summer months, you get the crowds on the weekends.  So enjoying everything you like during the week makes it comfortable.  But again, most of the crowd in the summer during the weekends is mainly located in specific areas, and probably won't bother you at all.

Rehoboth Beach and surrounding areas are loaded with ammenities.  What ever you like to do, you can find it here.  And if it is not here, you will know you are around 2 hours from Washington DC, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and the Pocono Mountains for you skiing buffs.
