This spring time weather has me wanting to be outside, I guess it basically has the whole city wanting to be outside. Tonight, how about having some cocktails at one of Austin's award winning and favorite Pet Friendly venues, Dog and Duck Pub downtown.

dog and duck pub

They have a variety of Texas, American, and International Brews totaling over 42 beers on tap. They started off as a British Pub but evolved into much more. I hear their Fish ‘n Chips is worth doing crimes for, they are absolutely HUGE and delicious.

There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. You can partake in anything from jamming out on the jukebox, watching one of the inside or outside TVs, playing pinball, darts, or a variety of board games.  For the record, they have FREE wi-fi for your computer.

The outside is pet friendly, they are happy to provide water dishes and welcome dogs of all sizes on the patio.

Tonight's special is Italian Club Sandwich with Sun Dried Tomato Pesto and Mozzarella Cheese. The soup is Cream of Spinach.

Dog and Duck is located downtown at:

406 West 17th  Street
Austin, Texas 78701

Looks like an awesome place to visit! I just posted on one of my local favorites, too. Like I said before, it's always good to know where the locals go!
