It's been 10,000 miles since my last oil change on the xB which is 5,000 miles overdue. I've been putting it off every day despite the flashing warning light that says "service required". To make my guilt level even higher, I've been showing properties to two of the mechanics that work at the local auto service shop just down the street from my office. In their best fatherly voices, both have suggested I "bring 'er in for service."
So, today is the day. I drove over to RSM Automotive and sheepishly handed over the key to Robert to get the oil changed hoping he wouldn't say anything about my tardiness. He didn't. He just offered me a ride back to my office where I knew I would be helplessly stranded with my car for what I feared would be many painful hours. What if I get a call to show a house? What if someone walks in with 2.5 million dollars and wants to see that listing in Coto de Caza and I can't even offer to drive? What if...
Less that two hours later I was picked up and delivered to my waiting car. Just some good natured ribbing about being "a quart low" and "you really shouldn't wait so long".
Sorry for being dramatic...
Get over to RSM Automotive at 23071 Antonio Pkwy, Suite F, Rancho Santa Margarita, 92688 and talk to Robert or Lewis. These guys run a very clean shop (really important in my book) and are highly trained and completely honest. The do every type of auto repair from the basic to the exotic and caneven build you a radical sand buggy with a Corvette engine. Really!
This business gets 5 STARS in my book.
