Thankful Thursday - I am So Thankful for My Clients!

I have the best clients in the whole world - bar none

When someone calls me about the possibility of listing their home, I schedule a meeting.  It accomplishes several things:

  • The seller can decide if they WANT to work with me.
  • I can decide if I WANT to work with the seller.
  • I can look at the property and talk about the way that we work and market properties.
  • The seller and I both can ask each other questions face to face.

If we both are comfortable working with each other, I take my information and go back to the office to do a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA).  Then I call the seller and we talk about pricing, etc.  If they are agreeable with the pricing structure that the CMA indicates, we meet again and sign a listing agreement, schedule photos, etc.

I beleive that taking the time to meet each other without any paperwork or pressure allows both sides to end up with a listing contract with someone that they can trust and can work with.  Consequently, I end up with the best clients in the world.  I kid you not.

If you own property in Choctaw or McCurtain County in Southeast Oklahoma, and want to sell it, call me and let's get acquainted.

That's the way to do it! You've gotta see if you are right for them and vice versa and always put them first. That's good for you're overall outlook and view of selling. Have the best year!

Judi....my team members do a two step process.....that first meeting is to meet and get a tour of the home.....but most importantly, to make sure the personalities mesh and to decide if we want the listing....sometimes it just isn't right!!! if it's a go, we finalize everything including the market analysis at the second meeting.

I have to admit, I do both scenarios depending on the Seller and who is following me.  When it is a referral (as most of my clients are) I do the 2 step.  When I know the agent following me is a well known pressure artist I combine my 2 steps into one because I might not get the chance to meet the 2nd time.  I have only lost out to another agent on 3 different occasions in all my years so I'm pleased with that.
