Single-family home and condominium sales were up significantly in December, ending a year that showed small gains over 2008.
Homes sales were up 29 percent in December, when compared with the same month in 2008. Condo sales were up 61 percent from the previous year.
The median price for single-family homes is down 1 percent from the same month last year to $178,875, and the median price for condos is down 20 percent to $120,000.
Hopefully, this all translates into a better 2010.
